Gabriel Stelian Mureşan (born 13 February 1982) is a Romanian footballer who currently is on contract with CFR Cluj. Mureşan is a central defender or a central midfielder. He has been capped twice for the Romanian national football team in 2007 for a Euro 2008 qualifier game against Slovenia won by Romania 1-2, and in 2008 for the Fifa 2010 home qualifier game against the French side. In the 2009-2010 season he was selected defensive midfielder of the year in Liga I.
